This midweek clash will be watched by supporters of both clubs from all across the world. Arsenal, who seem to have bottled their chances of winning the league title for the first time since 2003/04, will hope that they can get a positive result by the end of the evening.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will hope that his side gets back on the horse and Manchester City have a few disappointing results somewhere. Chelsea will not prove to be a tough problem for Arteta in this London derby, but he and his wards cannot afford to take them lightly, despite them winning the reverse fixture against the Blues by a 1-0 scoreline at Stamford Bridge.  

Injury Report

William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny continue to be long-term absentees for the Gunners while Chelsea will have to make do without the services of a lot of players. These players include the likes of Reece James, Mason Mount, Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibally, Kai Havertz and Armando Broja. This means that the Blues will be considerably weakened by these absentees.  

Prediction

Despite Arsenal being the favourites to win this London derby, we expect BTTS (both teams to score). Chelsea, ranked in the 12th position of the league table at the time of writing, have not scored in their last two matches, and have not kept a clean sheet in their last five outings. Arsenal have a good opportunity to go back to the top of the table and hope for things to come their way (read: Manchester City losing a lot, which seems unlikely).
