With the first leg going the way of Osasuna 1-0, Athletic Bilbao will be keen on overturning it and getting a positive result under their belt. They will have their home fans to cheer them on, and this will allow them to express their potential to its fullest. Inaki Williams and Iker Munian remain the players to watch out for in the Bilbao side.
For the visitors, Ruben Pena and Ezequiel Avila are most probably going to miss out whereas the hosts only have the likes of Jon Morcillo and Inigo Lekue ruled out for sure. Ander Herrera, the former Manchester United midfielder who won the Europa League with them, is a doubtful starter as well. Bilbao have quite a well-settled side, and this will help them gain momentum.
An interesting stat to note here is that while Bilbao have not scored in the last two home matches they have played, Osasuna have not done so in the last two away matches that they have turned up in! This makes this game here at the San Mames Barria extremely interesting, and the result will be a fair outcome of which side is the better one. The winner, of course, will qualify for the final of the Spanish Copa del Rey, to take on either of Real Madrid of Barcelona.
Winning this game will give a lot of confidence to both these teams, but unfortunately, one of them has to bow out by the end of the evening. The home team appear to be the favourites to win it.
