Sevilla take on Manchester United on Thursday in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League quarterfinal by being extremely confident in what they have to offer. Having not lost a single game in the last five outings that they have had against the Red Devils, manager Jose Mendillibar will hope that Estadio Ramon Sanchez will erupt with joy by the end of the evening.  

Key Highlights

While Suso, En-Neysri and Ocampo appear to be the dangermen for Sevilla, Manchester United will be bothered by the lack of defensive resources in their ranks. The likes of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will have to man the fort in the absence of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane while Anthony Martial takes up the reins in the forward line in place of Marcus Rashford. 

Injury Report

The Red Devils have a long list of injured players in their ranks which includes the aforementioned Varane, Martinez and Rashford as well as Donny van de Beek, Tyler Malacia, Scott McTominay and Alejandro Garnacho. To add to their worries, Bruno Fernandes has been ruled out of this game owing to a suspension. On the other hand, Sevilla have no injured players at all.

Prediction

While Sevilla appear to be the favourites to defeat this weak-looking Manchester United side, the Red Devils are known to be the comeback kings for a reason. One cannot quite write the side from Old Trafford off just yet. We predict both the teams to get on the scoresheet, although Sevilla have a big edge over Manchester United.
